Paid by the buyer at checkout on top of the item price, and not deducted from the seller's payout. Vinted says the amount depends on the item, the order value and whether it is one item or a bundle, so 5% + €0.70 is the usual figure, not a fixed rate. Older pages and blogs call this fee “Buyer Protection fee”.

The buyer pays for shipping and picks the carrier at checkout. The seller gets a prepaid label and has 5 working days to ship, or the order is cancelled automatically.
