Volume alone does not equal margin opportunity. Hoodies draw volume from Stone Island, Fred Perry, The North Face and Carhartt — but the price a hoodie clears at varies a lot between brands, so a Fred Perry hoodie and a Stone Island hoodie are different businesses. Why the brand alone isn't enough
