Platforms and features

The pricing page lists:

Countingup is a bank account first and an accounting app second, so using it means moving business money into a new current account. That is a real decision and not only a software choice. The price follows the total monthly deposits, which for a reseller means takings that arrive in the account, so a seller whose sales grow can move up a band without changing anything. Eligible deposits are described as protected by the FSCS up to GBP 120,000. The bank features are provided by a partner, named on the page as Griffin. Resale IQ does not give accounting or tax advice; ask a qualified adviser how your resale income is treated where you live.

Who it is for, and who it is not for

Good fit: A UK sole trader or small limited company who wants a business account, invoicing and a live tax estimate in one app, with VAT returns to HMRC.

Poor fit: A seller outside the UK, and anyone who does not want to open a new business bank account just for the bookkeeping.
