How the Resale IQ directory works

Every listing in the directory states what we could read on the vendor's own page on a named date. This page explains which facts we record, how often we re-check them, how we correct mistakes and how the directory earns money.

What we record

• The price of each public plan, in the currency shown, copied from the vendor's pricing page and linked there. We do not convert currencies.
• Plan limits, trial terms and the marketplaces the vendor names. If a figure is not published we write "Not published"; we never estimate.
• For marketplaces, the seller fee schedule from the platform's official help page, shared with our free fee calculators.
• Pros and cons come from the vendor's documentation, not from invented user complaints. Vendor numbers such as users or items tracked are quoted as the vendor's claim.

Dates and re-checks

The "Last verified" date on a listing is the day we last read the sources. Software and service listings are re-read about every 30 days and marketplace fee pages about every 60 days. If a vendor page fails to load twice we mark the figure "not currently confirmed" and remove it from tables. A listing whose price we could not read on the vendor's own page is kept out of the directory and the sitemap until we can.

Scores and ratings

There are no star ratings, user votes or aggregate ratings in the directory. An editorial score is planned under a public rubric; until it is published, no listing carries one and the order of tables is alphabetical, not a ranking. Resale IQ is never scored in the directory, and where a listed product overlaps with ours the listing carries a disclosure.

Corrections and claiming a listing

If a fact is wrong or out of date, email support@resaleiq.dev with the vendor URL that shows the correct figure. Factual corrections are applied within 5 business days. Opinions and wording of pros and cons are ours to decide.

How we earn

The directory earns in two ways, both labelled. Vendors can buy a clearly marked sponsored slot (see advertise), and some outbound links are affiliate links, marked "Affiliate link" next to the button and tagged sponsored. Neither changes a fact, a table order or a page's wording. We do not run display-ad networks on directory pages.
