Vinted Holiday Mode: What It Hides and What It Does Not Pause
Rules from Vinted's UK Help Centre, read 21 October 2026.
Vinted holiday mode hides all your listings for up to 90 days, so buyers cannot start new orders. You switch it on and off in Account settings. It does not extend Bumps or Showcase you already paid for. Vinted's help page does not say what happens to an order that is already open.

Vinted holiday mode hides all your listings for up to 90 days, so buyers cannot start new orders while you are away. You switch it on and off in your Account settings. It does not extend Bumps or Showcase you already paid for, and Vinted's help page does not describe what happens to an order that is already open.
What does Vinted holiday mode do?
Vinted says holiday mode hides all your listings for up to 90 days. Its suggested uses are the times you are not around to send sold items, or any other reason to pause trading. You can turn it on or off at any time.
The same help page adds one limit: holiday mode does not extend the length of Bumps or Showcase you have purchased. If you paid for either shortly before going away, the clock keeps running while your listings are hidden.
How do I turn holiday mode on?
Go to your Account settings, toggle the Holiday mode button, and press Save at the bottom. The steps for turning it off are the same toggle. Vinted lists them for both the app and the website.
What if I already have an order to send?
Holiday mode stops new orders. Vinted's help page does not say what it does to an order that is already open, so treat the shipping deadline as running. Vinted's delivery pages give a seller 5 business days from the purchase to ship, and say the order is cancelled if it has no tracking update or sent confirmation by then.
If you need longer, you can ask the buyer to extend the deadline by 3 or 5 additional business days, and the buyer can accept or decline. If it cannot be extended, you can cancel the order yourself or wait for automatic cancellation. After a cancellation you can agree to sell the item to the buyer later with Re-upload item in the conversation.
A parcel that already left is a different problem. See what happens to a seller's money when a parcel is lost.
Should I use holiday mode or just delete my listings?
Holiday mode is the pause button: one toggle hides everything, and one toggle brings it back. Deleting listings means uploading them again later. Vinted does not say whether a long pause changes how your listings are ranked when they return, so this guide makes no claim about it.
Keep the Bump and Showcase rule in mind: they keep running while you are away. If you plan a long break, do not buy either right before it. To plan what to relist first when you are back, grow your closet with the items that moved fastest.
Holiday mode is not a fix for a restricted account. If Vinted has banned or suspended you, read what to do when a Vinted account is banned.
