Who writes this

Articles are published under the team name, not a personal byline. The team is the people who run the collector, check the numbers against the database and read each marketplace's fee page before a figure goes live. Resale IQ is an independent company based in Spain, not affiliated with Vinted.

What we measure

Asking prices on public Vinted listings in Spain, France, Germany, Italy and Portugal, 4M+ listing records so far, and which of those listings leave the shelf. Definitions we use on every page:

  • Listing records: one row per listing per Vinted domain (COUNT(*)). An item listed on several domains counts once per domain.
  • Distinct items: each item counted once however many Vinted domains carry it (COUNT(DISTINCT external_id)).
  • Watched departure: a listing we watched leave the shelf. It can also be a delisting, an edit or a reservation, so it is not a confirmed sale and not a sale price.
  • Brands tracked: the brands the collector searches every cycle. Only brands with at least 5 watched departures in 7 days get published weekly figures.

How listings are collected

A scheduled collector reads public listing pages for each market every 30 minutes. Data starts on 4 August 2026. We do not log in to any marketplace account and we do not use private seller data. Sources

Prices and departures come from our own collector. Marketplace fees come from each marketplace's official fee page, linked in the article, with the date we read it. Where a figure comes from our data, the article states the sample size and the date range.

Limits

We never call a departure a sale: a listing can also leave because it was delisted, edited or reserved, so a departure is not a confirmed sale price. Asking prices are not sold prices. Small samples are labelled as small, and nothing here promises profit.
