A resale marketplace is the platform where an item is listed and paid for. For a reseller the first thing to compare is what the seller keeps after commission, payment processing, any per-listing fee and, on some platforms, a fee the buyer pays. This page lists each marketplace profile in the directory with the fee schedule read from its official help page and the date it was read. Fees vary by country, seller type and category, so each profile links the source and a free calculator.
How to choose
- Seller commission: a percentage, a flat amount or none, and what it is charged on (item only, or item plus shipping)
- Payment processing and per-listing fees that stack on top of commission
- Fees the buyer pays, which can change how buyers compare your price
- Country coverage: the same platform often has a different schedule in each market
- Seller type: private and business sellers can sit on different schedules
