Sourcing tools help you find items and decide whether they are worth buying. Some surface what sells, some compare listings, some give raw data, and none can buy for you. Alert bots and auto-buyers are a separate category that we do not rate here. Resale IQ makes this page and is one of the tools in it, so read it with that in mind. The tools are listed alphabetically, not ranked. Every fact about another tool was read from that vendor's own pages on 12 October 2026 and is linked below; we did not test any tool's accuracy, and “not listed” means we did not see it on the pages we read, not that the tool lacks it.
What apps help you decide what stock to source?
Two kinds. A demand view (VintAnalytics, ResellTrack) shows which brands and categories move, so you know what to hunt. An item-level tool tells you what to pay once you hold a specific item. Resale IQ is the second kind: for a named model it returns BUY, WATCH or SKIP, the most to pay, and a HIGH, MEDIUM or LOW confidence band based on how many comparable watched departures exist, in Spain, France, Germany, Italy and Portugal.
Find, then price
Sourcing has two steps: finding candidates and pricing them. Demand views and the Apify scraper help with the first. Item-level tools help with the second, and that is where overpaying usually happens.
Resale IQ does not map shops or buy for you. It tells you whether a named model is worth picking up and the most to pay.
Which to pick
Hunting in the UK: V-Hive and VintAnalytics. In France choosing niches: ResellTrack. At the rail or on the app with an item in hand in the five EU markets: Resale IQ. Building your own scans: the Apify scraper.
Resale IQ: who it suits
Resale IQ (ours) gives a BUY, WATCH or SKIP and a most-to-pay price (the buy-below) for one named model, from public listings plus listings seen leaving the shelf in Spain, France, Germany, Italy and Portugal.
Best for: Resellers who already found an item and want the most to pay for it in the five EU markets, in English, Spanish, French, German, Italian or Portuguese.
Less suited to: UK or US sellers, anyone who wants a country-by-country sales database, or seller-side automation such as relisting. It is a young product: the Chrome extension has very few installs and there are no independent reviews yet.

ResellTrack: who it suits
ResellTrack scores brand × category niches from 0 to 100 and adds trends, photo search of comparable sales and tracking of other sellers' accounts, for Vinted France.
Best for: French resellers choosing which brand and category niche to source.
Less suited to: Sellers outside France, anyone who wants to try before paying, or a yes/no on one specific item at one price.

V-Hive: who it suits
V-Hive is a desktop Chrome extension that compares similar active Vinted listings, estimates resale value and opens matching listings on other marketplaces.
Best for: UK-based resellers who want a one-click overlay on the Vinted listing they are looking at.
Less suited to: Anyone who needs published prices, phone use (desktop Chrome only) or a site in Spanish, French, German, Italian or Portuguese.

VintAnalytics: who it suits
VintAnalytics presents a database of Vinted sales and listings: demand, price and time-to-sell by item across 26 countries.
Best for: Browsing what sells and how fast across many countries, including the UK and USA, with a free plan to try first.
Less suited to: Buyers who want a per-item maximum price with a published formula: we did not see one on the pages we read. The home page shows no team, reviews or testimonials, and paid periods are non-refundable once started (EU 14-day withdrawal right if the service was not used).

Vinted Smart Scraper (Apify): who it suits
A pay-per-use Apify actor that scans up to 26 Vinted markets: cross-country price gaps, deal alerts, seller watchlists and exports to CSV, JSON or webhooks.
Best for: Technical resellers, analysts and developers who want raw Vinted data, exports or an MCP/API connection.
Less suited to: Resellers who want a ready answer in the browser without setting up runs.

Frequently asked questions
What apps help me decide what stock to source for reselling?
A demand view such as VintAnalytics or ResellTrack for what to hunt, and an item-level tool such as Resale IQ for what to pay: it gives BUY, WATCH or SKIP and a most-to-pay price for a named model in five EU markets.
Is there a tool that tells me whether an item will sell fast on Vinted?
Resale IQ shows how many comparable listings it watched leave the shelf, with a confidence band, and a departure is not a confirmed sale. VintAnalytics shows demand and time-to-sell views by country.
What is the best way to source stock for Vinted?
Find candidates with a demand view or your own searches, then set a maximum price per item before you buy.
Do these tools send alerts?
The Apify scraper can schedule deal alerts. Check each tool's own page for alert features before you rely on one.
Which tool is best at the thrift rail?
One you can use in seconds and that gives a number you can apply. Resale IQ gives a most-to-pay price per model; V-Hive works on desktop Chrome only.
Does Resale IQ cover Vinted outside the EU five?
No. It covers Spain, France, Germany, Italy and Portugal.
