StockX, GOAT and cousins are clearing houses with their own last sale. Vinted is a classifieds catalogue across ES/FR/DE/IT/PT with a ~5% seller-side fee in our model. A last sale in dollars is not a buy-below in euros.
Wrong venue, wrong fee, wrong size run
StockX last sale ignores Vinted’s fee, ignores that five EU domains are one catalogue, and ignores that a UK 9 is not an EU 43 on every last.
Sneaker apps also skip jackets, jeans, bags. Carhartt Detroit, Levi’s 501 and Patagonia Better Sweater are not on that ticker. They are on ours when the warehouse has a row.
When a StockX-style number is still useful
As a ceiling check on hyped pairs that also trade on exchanges. If the Vinted ask is already above that venue, you do not need us to tell you it is a skip — but you still need EU n to know whether the pair leaves the shelf here.
We will not invent a “StockX vs Vinted spread” as a product statistic. We do not operate that venue. We operate ES/FR/DE/IT/PT Vinted.
