Short answer

On Vinted, "bumped" means the seller paid for a Bump: a paid feature that shows the listing higher in members' newsfeeds and search results for 3 or 7 consecutive days, or until the item sells. The fee depends on the item's price and the Bump length and is shown at payment; only one Bump can run on an item at a time, and there is no limit on how many Bumps you buy over time (Vinted Help Centre, read 2026-10-08). A "Bumped" item is not a better item, only a promoted one.

What you see when an item is bumped

A bumped listing is pushed back towards the top of the newsfeed and search results, where new listings normally appear. Bumping does not change the item, its photos or its condition, and it says nothing about the seller's rating. It buys visibility for a limited time.

Is a Bump worth paying for?

We have no measurement of how a Bump changes the speed at which an item leaves the shelf, so we do not put a return on it. What Vinted says is to check the listing first: only bump listings that follow the listing best practices and Catalogue Rules, update the price and photos before bumping, and remember you can lower the price during a Bump but not raise it. The table above shows where typical asking prices sit by category, which is the price the fee is based on.

What the price table does and does not say

A departure is a listing our crawl saw leave a shelf; it is not a confirmed sale, and prices are what sellers asked (edition September 2026, generated 2026-10-05; cells need at least 30 observed departures; 16,821 observed departures in total). Nothing here is a forecast or a promise of profit.
