What you get

  • Real departure prices, not asking prices

Active listings show what people hope to get. We anchor on the asking price at the moment a comparable listing left the shelf — a real signal, though not an observed sale.

  • The buy-below number

For sourcing, the number that matters is the maximum you can pay (70% of the typical resale price) — we calculate it for you.

  • Speed, not just price

An item with no demand is dead stock. We show sell-through when the watched sample supports it — otherwise the raw departure and listed counts.

Observed departures are listings we watched leave the shelf, not confirmed sales; asking prices are what sellers asked.

Live from the watched markets

From departure price to BUY, WATCH or SKIP

Asking prices are hopes. A departure price is the last ask when a comparable listing left the shelf — the closest public proxy for what buyers paid, not a confirmed receipt.

From that average departure ask we work backwards to a buy-below price: average × 0.70. The 0.70 is 70% of the typical resale price, and no platform cut is built in: Vinted charges private sellers no selling fee. Pay under that number and the flip has room; pay over it and you are speculating.

The check then returns BUY, WATCH or SKIP against that number. Try the checker — most items unlock with Starter at €9 a month. Weekly brand volumes stay public on /data. Sell-through and sizes stay on a plan.

The data behind it

  • 14M+listing records tracked
  • 5EU markets: ES, FR, DE, IT, PT
  • Figures are listings we watched leave the shelf, not sale receipts.
  • Tracked markets: Spain, France, Germany, Italy and Portugal. Not the UK.
  • A model with too little data shows nothing rather than a guess.

What does a Vinted price checker do?

A Vinted price checker estimates what an item is worth from listings that recently left the shelf, not from asking prices. Resale IQ returns a buy-below price and a BUY, WATCH or SKIP call across Spain, France, Germany, Italy and Portugal.

What is a buy-below price?

Buy-below price is the most to pay for an item: 70% of its typical resale price. Resale IQ models it as average asking price at departure × 0.70, which is 70% of the typical resale price. Vinted charges private sellers no selling fee, so no platform cut is built into that number.

Why departure prices?

Asking prices are hopes. A departure price is the last ask when a comparable listing disappeared, which is the closest public proxy for what buyers paid. We do not see a receipt, so treat it as the closest honest proxy, not a confirmed sale price.

Is the Vinted price checker free?

Weekly brand volumes and average departure prices stay public on /data with no account. A free account gets 10 free item checks a month, no card. Item-level BUY, WATCH or SKIP and buy-below on every model start at Starter €9 a month. Sell-through and sizes stay on a plan.
